Ewing Blvd, Murfreesboro, TN in the Fall 2008. :)

I don't like how difficult uploading pictures and making a cool layout are on these blogs. I'd much rather just upload a bunch of pictures with captions on something like deviant art or flicker. hmmm...

Well I figure it's about time I update this blog...

Today I have spent many hours in the office searching for photographs to put in the paper tomorrow. As a result, I have gone through almost every photograph on my hard drive as well as in binders tucked away at my house and I must say, I was very excited after a long days search to find what I was looking for. I figure for this first blog I will post a few pictures from the town my parents live in.

Welcome to Franklin:

The Carter House:

The Carter House is a historic home in Franklin in 1830 by Fountain Branch Carter and used by three generations of his family.

I've only been here once I believe, but it is a beautiful place to visit and I always love learning about the history of these historic homes.

The Factory:

When I moved to Franklin 5 years ago, one of the places my mom found most fascinating was the historic Factory at Franklin. This use to be a Manufacturing company built in 1929. Many years after the factory was no longer in use, the building was bought out and revamped into a mall filled with shops, art, food, and more, but still retained much of it's unique history.

Pinkerton Park:

Ever since I moved to Franklin in 2004 I have frequented this park. My interest in photography grew after developing the roll of film this photograph came from. I spent a day just walking around the park and off the beaten path to find quaint places that interested me. I spent much of my free time at Pinkerton park either photographing, reading, watching the sunrise, or just to simply to enjoy the afternoon. This park is one of my favorite places in Franklin, though I advise going to the outskirts of the park where there are not nearly as many children and much more exciting things to see.

Well I'm tired and it is late. I'm completely ready to leave this office.

Tiffany, I finally updated! ;)

Hope you all enjoy.
